You never once thought about ET or Looney Toons?

I thought about Looney Toons after I thought about Captain Marvel.

Why abandon faith and hope for television over a stupid show on a channel for children? Especially a channel that gives shows to internet celebrities.

    Good point.
I've completely abandoned faith and hope that children's television will return to what it used to be.

It started going downhill when Cartoon Network started showing live action shows.

    Yes.
Someone really screwed that network over because all around the same time they got live action and their cartoons started being absolute garbage.

    This isn't the '90s anymore.

Just like humans age, TV shows change as time goes on.

Unfortunately you're absolutely right. A good show for kids now is nothing like what a good show for kids was when I was part of the target demographic. It's a shame.

To you, maybe, but that's because you grew up in the '90s.

Take Hero, for example. He has a little sister that likes iCarly. If she had grown up in the '90s, perhaps she would have had the same thought some of you here have.

    In short:
    • People born in their time: Think that era's shows were great and some dislike the present shows.
    • People born in the present time: Like the current shows, but also like some of the classic shows, such as Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the shows from the '90s, such as All That, Cousin Skeeter, and The Amanda Show -- all three of which were canceled. As time moves on, however, and shows change, you've got to learn to adapt to changes; otherwise, you'll just be stuck in the past.

No. This isn't a matter of opinion. Kids show these days are vulgar, with a sense of comedy that only someone who didn't experience what shows were like previously would understand, or find funny.

Someone can like whatever show the like, as that is purely subjective, but what you like is not always what's good. I like many movies and shows that I will admit are bad, but that doesn't mean that I like them less.

I didn't grow up in the 90's. In 2000 I was 6, I hardly call that growing up.

So they are vulgar. What's the big deal?

And just because you don't like it or like it doesn't mean it's a good or bad show. There are no such things as good or bad shows, and this can go for anything, too, such as songs. It all comes down to opinion.

I thought Dalton McGuinty was a great Premier as well until he decided to conduct shenanigans with unions.
