when you read 35 chapters of a fanfic that updated 2 hours ago, get to the end, realise that it's gonna be at least a week until the next update and then realise that the author had to attend a funeral so you feel bad for being impatient ;_;
At least they plan on continuing. I make chapters and drop the whole thing from boredom. I suppose I'd be a better prompt writer as opposed to lengthy writing. Anyway, I think we've all been in that awkward situation at least once. -TK
