For some reason, the text is all funny, especially on the video controls. Spoiler I'm guessing it's something in Windows 7, because it wasn't like that on Windows XP. What would it be, though? EDIT: It seems that this is a general text issue, as I was just reading my thread of pet peeves, and the text was blurry if just in the right spot on the screen. EDIT #2: Here are a couple more screenshots. Spoiler Spoiler
I'm really not seeing any issue? If it's a problem with the display, though, first try updating the driver for your graphics card. If that doesn't work, swap in a different monitor.
Well, it seemed fine for a while, but now it's back. I'm 100% sure, though, it's something in Windows 7, because it was fine before the upgrade and it's not like that for my mom's PC. I just compared Mozilla Firefox to Internet Explorer 9, and it's only happening on Mozilla Firefox. However, why was it fine before upgrading? I know it's not my monitor, though. EDIT: If you look closely enough, you can see how the duration time of the video is kind of bold and fuzzy, as well as my "Last Updated" header. Also, if you look at the highlighted text in the third screenshot, you'll see that part of it is green and hard to see. As for the second, it wasn't even highlighted, and it turned purple, for some reason. Even as I am typing this, some of the text changes to a turquoise-like color, and then changes back to the regular black.
Drivers are operating system specific. Because you upgraded from XP to Windows 7, it might not have the proper display drivers. If it's a browser-specific issue it may not be necessary to update your drivers, but it's still a good measure. Make sure you're running the most recent version of Firefox. If the problem persists, report it as a bug to Firefox.
I just decided to go with Internet Explorer 9, since it's not having test issues -- it's not freezing like Internet Explorer 8 was on Windows XP, which the I reason I moved away from it before. Would there happen to be some Adblock Plus, or something similar, for Internet Explorer 9, though?
No, there's not. I may also have to restart Internet Explorer 9. I think I had to do that on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but I'm not sure. I'll try later, as I'm busy right now playing some songs for my mom.
Okay, first of all, the issue is with Mozilla, not YouTube -- my mistake. Can a staff member replace "YouTube Videos" in the title with "Mozilla Firefox on Windows 7?" Anyway, I've discovered something quite interesting. If the window is maximized, things look like this: Note: It's not always like this for the second picture, but it does it for any text, not just that Photobucket text. If it's not: That leaves a question, then. What could be the problem?
I noticed that since upgrading to Mozilla 9.0.1 yesterday, the weird highlight issues with text have disappeared. Also, when viewing a picture of whatever on Facebook, whatever was coming up before (looks like it was my desktop background) that made it hard to see the picture if Mozilla is maximized, which is always is, is also no longer happening. The only problem now is the time on YouTube videos is still a bit glow-ish. However, like before, if Mozilla isn't maximized, it looks normal. (Check the screenshots I posted earlier here.)
