Birth by Sleep Terra really picking Riku?

I just watched the Birth By Sleep trailer again and began thinking.
The three keyblades that Terra, Aque and Ven pick up are Sora, Riku's and Mickey's.
Now, Terra is the leader and picks up Sora's keyblade.
Aqua is often thought to be Riku's mother, and picks up the Road to Dawn.
Ven,who looks like Roxas, who is the other side of Sora, picks up the Dark Realms keyblade.

The way I see this, is that all three of them chose a Keyblade Master, or, a sucessor, even. And that there never was just one intended keyblade master. That, really, there was meant to be mutiple the entire time.

Even if this does contradict the theroy stating that Terra actually chose Riku as the keyblade master, this is something else that seems to make sense to me.
A mother would be biased towards her son.
A leader would pick someone who is able to take charge of a situation.
And with Roxas being the "other" side of Sora, it would only make sense for him to have control over the "other" realm's keyblade.

What is Kh-vid's opinion?

 

Actually Ven picks up way to the dawn.

 

I don't think it really matters, I think its just where they were at the time.

 

This was mainly what I had been thinking from the start. Not sure if it's true, but it implies to be so.

 

Well Sora did use Riku's keyblade and his own so that's pretty cool. Heh, maybe Sora will get a second Way to the Dawn at the beginning of KH3 and dual wield it with the Kingdom Key.:p

 

Well, the Kingdom Key was really supposed to be Riku's but since he gave in to the darkness at the beginning of KH1, it went to Sora instead.

 

Way to the Dawn kicks Kingdom Key's butt.

If what you say is true (which is somewhat untrue[ talking about Ven picking up the Shadow Key]), why wouldn't Ven pick up the Kingdom Key?

 

Maybe it's because he knew the Way to the Dawn was a dangerous keyblade.

This is a confusing subject. I think the Keyblades can switch, like when Riku grabbed Sora's Keyblade in kh1, and when Riku told Sora that he doesn't need Way to Dawn yet in kh2, talking as if Sora could weild it as easy as his own Keyblades. And remember Aqua's Oblivion? Sora has Oblivion in kh2 at the end. So, to some it up, they can switch Keyblades, its their own inner strength that changes the blades. Like Sora's power of Light, Riku's Dark, and Kairi's.......Inbetween? I dunno.....

 

From what I belive about Keyblade Masters, Any keyblade master can weild any keyblade. Its just that their keyblade is dominant to them. So if aother keyblade weilder picks up soras keyblade he can still call it back because it is his. But that keyblade weilder could still hold it.

im still trying to figure out when it was officially established that terra ever chose anybody to wield a keyblade, last i checked the keyblade chose its own wielder, not the prievious wielder choosing the new one

 

So when Riku and Roxas was fighting, why didn't Roxas take back his keyblade when he like lost... :0

Does it have to be thier choice of sucessor? Couldnt it be thier choice as to which direction they take?

Meaning they either chose darkness, light, or twilight?

there are 2 for sure successors, Sora and Riku. This was talked about in Chain of Memories Reverse Rebirth for Riku's tale (I just beet it for the 11th time). It talks of how Riku is the Chosen of Darkness, and Sora is the Chosen Light. Zexion said it i think, when he was trying to convince Riku he must always battle the Light, because he's dark. So yes, there are successors, FO SHOW!!!!!!

terra means earth

Riku means land

Obviously There is a link between the two
