v1, looks more natural.

 

I'd say v.1. it looks better without the text and just the green mist/vapor.

 

v2... it looks like he has silly string hanging from his mouth in v1.

 

I'd go with v2 if it had no text, but seeing as it does I'll go with v1.

 

V.2 It looks purty. And the text next to it makes it look cool. ^^
