darn. Was actually going to make a FF13 joke too. Darn you inb4! I have not seen real powdered snow so no help there. Only seen hard ice like snow which is now fun cause you cant really even make a snowball and chuck it at your younger relatives face without making them bleed everywhere. I live in a desert area close to Mexco. We don't get that stuff here. Go south of AUS, you'll find some I am sure, or you could take a vaca to New Zealend.
snow is nice for the first day, then afterwards it turns gross and makes everything outside so damn cold to touch.
Nope, it can get all slushy and muddy and when it doesn' t the day/night cycle and the pedestrian traffic make it more slippery day after day, which is no fun when you walk a lot and live in a city built on a hill. There' s definitely a bright side to it though, whether you' re a kid or not : snowballs, ski/surf/sledge, pets seeing snow for the first time, no school or work for a week because you live in an area where getting 60 inches of snow in a single night is completely unexpected, etc ...
I hear it can be all red and pretty in Europe sometimes. It has something to do with sand from the Sahara Desert getting mixed in with it.
Snow is a wonderful thing. It might be cold but you can do all sorts of things with it, have snow ball fights, build snowmen, and tunnel under big piles of it to make a fort. The really powdery stuff is great to ski on. Unlike most other people in this thread I have no complaints about the snow. It is so much better then rain, that's for sure. Snow has it's own beauty to it. I love taking a walk through the trees when it snowed because it is so pretty especially the holly plants. So yeah that is what I think of the snow. Plus when it snows the lake freezes and you can skate.
