I'm probably going to do a 2-3 day detox of all technology during my christmas break. Meaning no cellphone, no ipod, no video games, no computer/laptop. >> I feel like i'm digging my own grave D: Would you ever do a tech detox?
Hell no. Because that includes things like cars (I have places to go), lighter (I am not lighting my cigarettes with two sticks), and things like that >>
Well you said technology B| And still no lol Hey, i haven't had a smoke in over a month. I'm due for one. I gotta keep warm during the winter D:
I'm not telling you to go to a mall two hours away from you by walking.... lol stupid. Big whoop, one month... do it for at least a year or something. I'll be impressed by then.
Yeah, that coating of tar in your lungs will do you real good. And I've kept away from digital things before, not recently though, lol. Don't think I could keep myself from talking to several people. xD
If I detoxed, then how could I come on here and blog about ridiculous things to others. I don't what I'd do with my life, I could read a book...
I tried something like that a little while ago. It was a little different. For about five days, I didn't go on any social networking (KHV, Twitter (even though I don't use it anyway), and facebook). I did log onto Youtube just to listen to music, I had to keep my cellphone on hand (for medical reasons) and my iPod for obvious reasons. Those five days were the longest five days of my entire life. It was an experement to see how much time I waste on the internet and see how much work I can actually get done. I realized something though: I'm just lazy, internet or not. In fact, I think I got less done during those five days.
Screw that i'd die , bad enuff my laptop's screwed and i'v been waiting for uncle to get it sorted , but NO Tv , video games i would lose my sanity.....wait i lost that ages ago ...
When I went to vacation last year I forgot my DS, and no computers in the hotel. Don't ask me how I survived. Perhaps the beach helped a little...
I could manage it. I wouldn't like it though. Being without a music player would be difficult. I'd spend my time walking and playing solitaire. Walking, because it takes the mind off boredom. Solitaire is just a really time-consuming game one can play on their own. Admittedly both of those activities are better with music, but it can't be helped.
