Talking Alone

People think that talking alone means that person is crazy. But, I miself think that it's someway to organize your mind, as someone stated in the news. So, do you think that talking alone is for crazy people? I also talk alone, I do it for fun.

 

i should think so i talk to myself all the time and im doing well in many aspects including school where im doing exceptionally

I think that talking to yourself is a trait of a genius.I talk to myself and was proven to be gifted by a phycologist.

 

See people? Many persons talk alone and they AREN'T crazy? Talking to yourself is a way to organize your mind.

 

I talk to myself, a lot. I always talk about fun times I had with my best friends lol.

 

I talk to myself sometimes. I'll just be talking away and then I'll remember that I'm alone and I feel kind of silly. xD

 

I talk to myself quite a bit. It helps me think more clearly. Plus, I like to laugh at myself xD (Now THAT may be kind of weird, but oh well!)

 

I don't really talk to myself, sing a hell of a lot though.

 

I talk and sing to myself... xD I don't think its a sad thing... Actually it takes a hell of a lot off things off your mind...

But the people around me at home think I'm insane xD

 

It's only nuts when you argue with yourself...

Talking to yourself, especially if you are depressed and no one is around to share the misery with, is kind of normal. Also if you are thinking on something and kind of need to say it out loud, that is normal too.

I am kind of like Beat in that I tend to sing songs etc more than I do to talk to myself really but every now and then I find myself just thinking aloud and it's amusing.

 

it's fine as long as it doesn't result in anything weird happening. i do that to cope with confusion sometimes.

 

There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself, when I do math I have to talk to myself, that doesn't mean that your a lunatic or something, it just means, that you need a little more thinking when doing something.

Talking to yourself is fine just as long as it doesn't turn into an arguement with yourself or something.

I sometimes talk to myself to try and figure something out.Like if I'm doing my work in my Pre Algebra 2 class.But I do it quietly so that no one can here me lol.But one time I was leaving the girl's locker for lunch.And I thought my two friends were behind me but they were still inside but I didn't know.Then I ask a question,thinking my two friends were behind me.But a girl was behind and when I turned around, the girl was looking at me like I'm crazy.

 

i think talking ti your self is the best way to organize your thoughts ^^
i talk to myself too but i don't argue and i sing a lot ^^

I tell myself to shut up ALOT, and it's usually after arguing with myself! XD

But whther it's good or not, it only depends on what your talking about

 

I can never talk to myself. Even if i wish to rehearse somethin' i feel incredibly daft, n' i just can't seem to do it, even when i know no one is 'round.

Heck, even when i wish to record myself with the mic i can't do it.

 

I'll talk to myself a lot. Helps me get my thoughts together and if I have a lot to do I can prioritize. I...have argued with myself, but usually nothing more than "Yeah, you did that already...no you didn't...yes...no. Yeah? No, guess not."

I'll curse myself out too, it's bad.

 

I agree, but I really think it comes down to what you say...I mean, living in NYC I see crazy people everyday talking to themselves saying the weirdest things...

"Theres a bomb....a bomb I tell you! A BOMB!"
All the sudden after saying that he just ran down the streets screaming "A BOMBBBBB! A BOMBBBB!"
Not only were the police after him, but everyone would move out of his way...

This other time I saw this guy having an argument with himself...which I will not get into...

But still, sometimes hearing yourself is great because you're right it does help you gather info and organize your thoughts. I tend to do it if I'm alone or just in my thoughts.

 

To organize yourself and your schedule is fine.

But, if you do it because you actually believe you are talking to another person would come off crazy.
