Taking my ACT today

and can I just say how rediculous it is when you have to wake up? It's a good thing I hate my cat to complain for food, at least then I didn't have to hear my alarm clock. Aw man, only 9 more minutes till I leave. Then I'm stuck in some stupid room in a school for 4 hours.....4 HOURS!! ON A WEEKEND! TAKING A STUPID TEST!!
....Remind me to murder the person who designed this stuff

 

wait till they make you take college exams at 5 am. just to see if you can wakeup. or drop out.

Try taking it burnt out and without a calculator. That sucks.

 

I just did. I mean, I brought a calculator, but it was so worthless I was doing it without. And it was so dumb, because I got a B on my college math, and yet pretty much all of those math questions made no sense to me. And the ones that I did know easily I couldn't do on the calculator because it stunk. I'm really not looking forward to that score.

I wouldn't worry about it. Like I said, no calculator and working off a high and I still did decent not to brag or anything.

 

well, I'm pretty fine with English and Writing, since I always do well in those no matter what I take them in, and I think Science should be fine. It's just, you can't put me in math and time me with only 60 minutes for 60 questions. I can't do math that quickly

 

I don't know about you, but not talking for hours on end has made me completely delirious. Also I need a 22. :c

I HATED the ACT. The SAT was long but math and English are easy (for me), the ACT had science which is uuuuuugh. I nearly fell asleep during some of those questions.

I ended up doing well, though. :x 28.

 

Never had to take ACT. Had to take GED, but that was it.

 

I don't think I'm going to end up close to that at all. And I found science fairly easy, except for the stinkin' time, since they had graphs and everything that I could use

 

I remember taking the SAT and ACT.......highly dislike....hate even....timed tests. I worry too much about the time than the actual test itself. I did well though :)

I think you will end up with a good score......usually those who worry about it the most end up doing well. :P (so I am told hehe)

 

well, I try not to think about the time, but when I do that, I end up taking too long. Like when I did the science and math, I ended up finding out I had like 20 minutes left and 30 questions, so I just scanned and answered...well for the science anyways. I think I did kinda poorly on math. I also scanned Writing when it came up, because time got somewhat close on that too. But I always ended with like 12 minutes to spare
