I'm not digging this. I feel that the stock has great potential, effects are nice, and it's pretty acceptable, but something feels extremely off. I'll start breaking it down... The text, sure it's fitting and it even has a matching color scheme, but it just seems like it was placed there without too much effort. It's a so-so from me. Text is pretty hit and miss sometimes. The Depth, I don't think there's enough depth for a tag that has so much dark parts. It could use a feeling of dimension. The Lighting, you have some nice lighting effects there, and that's nice, and they're pretty well placed. But, I think there's something wrong with the shadows and highlight. I can see you tried being very realistic with it, and there's a lot of thought put into it. Of course, this leaves the focal point very darkened. Overall, it's a good tag, but it's missing something to make it stand out.
Hmm. I mostly agree on everything you said but this. :p Mostly because it... kinda doesn't make sense to me? Can you elaborate? XD I dunno aren't shadows and highlights... lighting? If I have nice lighting effects that are nicely placed... Uhm... I dunno it just sounds a little confusing to me. :p
Well, it's like this. You have some very realistic(and nice)lighting. But there's something off about it. When light hits something, it creates shadows, which is what you should play with. I'm kinda biased, because I like things with less shadows. What I'm meaning to say is, work on elaborating the lighting better. Sure, it's important to identify where the light is coming from in the stock, but if you have to create the direction of the light, do so to with dodge and burn.
Meh, I disagree with Chev on the light, I think that's what saves the tag, in a way, lol. I'm just not a fan of that horizontal line of light that's going across. The rest of his points are pretty spot on though. Really not too crazy about this one, sorry. :c
