Personally, I'm gonna have to go with Spidey. I mean, he's just a normal, kinda dorky guy who gets bitten by a radioactive spider, and now he's a normal, kinda dorky guy with spider powers! He's still going through the issues of life, so we can relate to him.

Plus...in most of the stuff with him, he's a skinny little guy. And big bulky ripped aliens like Superman kinda creep me out.

If they were to fight each other Superman would most likely win, because of his powers flight, super speed, X-ray vision, heat vision, and super strength.

I'd want Spiderman to win because he's my favorite hero of all time, but I don't see that happening.

    So, I vote for Superman.

I vote for Spiderman because Superman seems fake to me by having almost every super power ever.
And Toby Mcguire is cuter <33333

    Peter Parker vs Clark Kent.

Two divisions of the newspaper world going at it. Clark with the headlines, Parker with the pics. Mono e Mono.

I'd rather see Jamison taking on Bruce Waynes butler Alfred myself.

Ok, revision, Superman against Chuck Norris.

If it's just for preference, I'd say I like Spiderman a lot more than Superman. Spiderman is more down to earth literally and always could kind of be understood by anyone who was down on his/her luck and you could imagine what you'd do in similar situations. Superman was always larger than life and I've never understood why he's so popular other than for the fact he can seemingly do nearly anything.

spiderman. superman is too strong of a hero...in each movie the villain goes for kryptonite and then attacks superman...Spiderman is vulnerable in so many ways...but when he beats the villain its better than when superman does because he overcomes his weaknesses to do it, overall making him a better character in the end...

    In a fight: Superman.

Character-wise: Both have their merits. Yes Perter Parker is your average dorky nobody that we can all relate to from some perspective in our lives, but he's still a meta-human. Yes we can identify with his constant struggle for a an income, love life, and at the same time enjoy his defending of New York and often places beyond that from psychopaths, criminals, and bringers of doomsday. But the same can be equally said about Clark Kent.

Unfortunately people seem to have this huge misconception that Superman is depicted as a god, and with all his powers he doesn't have a shred of issue in his life. Such is not the fact, my obviously Marvel-biased friends. The man is the last of his kind, and no matter how much Ma and Pa Kent, Lois Lane, and the Justice League care for him he is still alone on a very unfathomable level-- a loneliness that we ourselves often contemplate concerning our own individuality. People say "Oh he's so perfect because he has all these powers, and he always wins so there's nothing I can relate to or enjoy plot-wise", and I give you this: everyday is battle of self-control for Clark Kent; a simple wandering of the mind or loss of concentration could kill the people around him, or drive him insane( his super hearing is always active, and he is constantly focusing on a select few sounds at any given time). With all the power in the world, he could easily set out to conquer the entire galaxy, maybe even the universe. And yet he's still hellbent on trying to help everyone, abiding by a human code of ethics and morality.

This constant idea of perfection is superficial. While many of us can only imagine what we would do to the enemies in our world, such is a reality for Superman, who constantly grapples with a very human aspect of control. In it's simplest terms you could sum it up as "why shouldn't I just kill them all?". Like any hero comes to find, power is just as much a curse than it is a blessing. Peter Parker shows us what it's like to be normal first and have powers second, but Superman is vice versa. It is in my opinion that this is why Peter has it much easier.

Flight, super speed, heat vision, micro/telescopic/x-ray/ EMS vision, ice/force breath, super strength, and invulnerability. Hardly comparable to many of the "gods" portrayed in Marvel. The power cosmic alone is a whore of the Marvel universe.

    And precognitive alertness isn't cheap?

Lol this is funny my friends were having an argument about this just yesterday.
Well I know Superman would probably win in a fight, but I just relate to Spiderman a lot more. So, yeah, I guess Spiderman is my choice.

Spiderman is more of a realistic character than Superman. I mean, he lives a normal teenage life just like anyone else and his portrayal and character overall can be connected to the reader He's even had to sacrifice his powers in order to live a normal, less stressful life. His cunnin', geekiness and wit makes him a very likable character.

Superman has always been the central icon, definition and epitome of superheroes. While Superman is indeed a formidable force, he seems to be like a perfect superhero because of his alien origins. Bein' a Kryptionian, Superman is perceived to be a god-like warrior because most of his villains, although, had superpowers, were ultimately human

I'm sure that superman would win in a fight, but i like spiderman better. I grew up with spiderman, i've been reading the comics since i was 7. I'm sure superman is a great character and everything, but i've never read any superman comics and don't really know much about him.
