    I once electrocuted myself on an open light socket while partially standing in a vat of water.
    Course that was more of an accident.

    Mistake wise I dated a chick who ended up running off with a German solider.

    Lead to a complete meltdown, a long, repeating cycle of depression-then somewhat okay- then depressed again, somewhat tarnished academic career, ruined friendships and me leaving the country .-.

    Oh, so many things:

    I stuck a key into an electrical outlet. Twice.

    I spun around and around in a circle, then tripped and smacked my head on a coffee table. Still have the scar from that one.

    I sprayed bleach into my eyes.

    And all this before the tender age of five. ^-^
