Stupid Party Members

Has a party member ever ran after a heartless and jumped down a high building? I'm at Oogie's manor and Donald and Jack keep going after the Gargoyle heartless! And the heartless goes after it!

 

One time, I was fighting Cerberus. Goofy was out, Donald had only one cure left, and I was on Cerberus and I had great health. Donald Cured me. I lost.

 

Whenever I'm fighting a boss, Donald and Goofy either run away, or die almost right after I start fighting.

 

That is very dumb. And it's sad that Donald always dies.

 

I always try to replace Donald if I can. He doesn't help at all.

 

Donald dies so much. Its scary. Almost half of my battles he was dead. A waste of potions and Cure.

 

I keep both donald and goofy in. Yea they both run off of buildings and sometimes just stand there but i dont like the fill in characters.

 

I always replace Goofy, even if Donald dies alot, his Cure is always handy!^-^

 

Whatchu guys talkin' 'bout? Donald dah shiz. Cures me all the time. Goofy is really useless though, he dies MUCH more than Donald. He's only useful for MP Gift, really.

 

You see,this is why I never lend Donald any high potions in my game.He's always the one to die first.-_-;

 

Well, I always equip my party members with as many potions, ethers, hi potion/ethers, and mega potions/ether's as possible.

 

Same, but I mostly try and fight as if it was just me though. I find Donald/Goofy and pretty much all the other support characters very unreliable.

 

I don't really equip my party members unless its a very important battle.

 

I don't equip them at all...They just run out, and they're too busy healing each other to heal me. Since they both tend to die a lot, without me realizing it, and heal each other, without me noticing it, they run out of stuff and then just sit there, or try to hit the enemies (at least they try and do something), and I don't notice.

I think they could have done the side characters a lot better...Maybe if you could play as them, instead of as just Sora...

 

You get to fight as Riku in the last xemnas boss battle.

 

This still pisses me off even to this day.

I was fighting Xigbar, and then he did that move where the whole floor becomes one platform and he starts shooting me from every angle. When he got the the point where the bullets were raining down behind me, I was almost out, but Goofy stood in my way and I couldn't move.

Most of the time Dolnald and Goofy are a nuisance and the only good thing about them is that you can go into drives and they can heal you...sometimes. I never equip them with any potions and I'll only equip them with stronger weapons and possible some Protect Chains or something like that. Besides, they always seem to die anyways and if I equip potions with them, they usually always use them up in like 5 seconds.

I think they just get in the way and that's it. :/

 

Two words why you should keep Goofy: Knocksmash. Limit.

Three words why you should keep Donald: "I got it!" (I love hearing him say that; makes me laugh every time)

 

I've stated this before, somewhat, and I'll state it again. ;)
The bond that developed between Sora, Donald & Goofy in KH1 was the what really carried the story. I mean, without Donald & Goofy, would the story be as interesting with Sora traveling alone?
As for the actual ally gameplay, if Donald & Goofy were invincible and never died and killed enemies instantly, how patheticially easy would the games be?

 

Actually I have no problems with D&G (Dolce Galbana lol)... But I really think it´s ignoring in KH1 that they always stands in the way for the sight... Especially when you are playing with the white mushrooms... And Goofy is soo tall all you see is he´s face... =)
