The Nobody one is best because it has the render placed correctly and the arm goes in the same direction as the blue lines, meaning that you get a nice connection between background and stock.

The Cloud one doesn't really have the lines doing anything, and it looks like the background has been tilted, but the black makes it difficult to tell. I'd recommend trying to give the lines in the background a purpose. Also, the white is a tad too white and it almost gets mixed with the sword end.

The Sephiroth one reminds me of Christmas candy canes due to the border, but you've said you messed up there, so I won't judge.

Comparing your past works with what you have now...it's a great improvement. I'm liking that your expanding your unique style in a good manner.

One thing I noticed was that the sigs lack flow, or blending, also, some of the stocks look too small. Try to blend the stock with the background, follow this with the text, too. As for the flow, try to add the effects in a direction that complement the stock's position.

It's good that you're improving, so far you're doing great, but practice makes perfect.
