Well, it's better then that Prite sig, that's for sure. I'd say that it's a good idea to add some sort of background, the yellow-white-ish-ness is rather blinding. It'll also give you an opportunity to work ont he sharpening problem. Be if you keep the background the way it is, the oversharpening is nessecary to have any depth at all. I'd also suggest working on the colors, none of them really work togethor. I'm not sure how you could improve them other then just start chucking gradient maps and photofilters at them, maybe a hue+ saturation layer as well. As for Text, I like the font, and I think it matches well with the rest of the sig, however the text stands out to much and it messes with the flow a bit, try putting a bend to it and make it blend in a bit more with the affects. Keep it up man, you'll get back to normal eventually.
