Star Wars: KotOR

This RP is about the Mandalorian Wars. I doubt that I will even participate and if I do I wont post often.

Rules
No God modding or power playing or whatever.
No use of major or iconic star wars characters and names.
No mixing elements of different star wars eras.
All characters must be approved by me.
Only Jedi and sith can have light sabers.
You can be any class, species, and gender.
Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, Republic, Pirates, you name it.
Only one main character per person, though if you are a pirate you can have a crew but they can't be super strong characters and what not.
You can involve non-player characters in your posts.
If the NPC is a major character in this time period then only use them for one post.
Please be indepth and use detail in you posts. I require a demo post.
No being super power sith lords or jedi masters. If you are a jedi padawan or sith apprentice, also create a master but not a super indepth character.
If we don't have enough characters then some people can have two.
No killing other people's characters unless they agree.

-Description: He's a tranquil-looking man with dark, messy brown hair. His eyes are just as brown and he's 6ft. tall, but kind of skinny. He has a pointed beard below his lower lip and a, ocular visor over his left eye. He wears black pants that have a blaster holster to the side of the right leg, short brown boots, a cream-colored shirt and a dark green jacket. He always wears a pair of silver headphones around his neck.
-Equipment: A Zabrak Tystell Mark III blaster (which is something special, considering the Zabrak killed many pirates who were trying to steal shipments of these), a stealth field generator, a plasma torch, a re-usable sonic emitter and a customized vibrosword.
-Force Powers: N/A

-Demo Post:
A small, one-man freighter had just pulled out of hyperdrive when a republic ship reeled it in with a tractor beam. On the bridge, there were two republic soldiers.
"Captain, we've taken a freighter that we suspected to be smuggling spice shipments for the past two weeks"
"Well done. Has anyone responded yet?", asked the Captain.
"Not yet, sir. There haven't been any signs of struggle when we were taking them in, but we don't believe they just jumped ship. The escape pods are still attached to the vessel", the private said with a confused looked. " Our thermal sensors don' seem to be picking up any signs of heatother than the hyperdrive engine, either."
The captain coughed in his hand and examined the ship from the glowing monitor. "Well, the ship could'nt have been steering itself. Send a search squad to strip the ship clean and to take in any crew members. We'll want to take them in for questioning, of course."
Just as the captain turned around, all the lights on the ship went out. All the crew members on the bridge were trying to reboot the power, but nothing worked. The captain hurried back to the private. Then, the power came back on, with all the monitors flashing red.
"What just happened!?" he asked in a panic.
"Sir, someone has just overwritten the binary access codes. The entire system has shut itself down. We can't even access the emergency frame!". The private smashed his hand down on the computer. "Whoever's hacked us is now stealing galactic access codes!"
"Dammit! Send four troops down to the main power conduit ad have them reboot the ship. Then send someone to trace the disturbace!"
Suddenly, a high-pitched shriek followed by an explosion struck the bridge. The captain, with his hands over his ears and on his knees looked up and started panting. "Damn pirates...." he gasped as he fell unconscious.
Out of the smoke from the explosion, a man just deactivated his stealth field generator. He had a sonic emmiter in his hand and headphones in his ears.As he took a look around the bridge, he nodded and flicked the emitter off with his thumb. He put the emitter in his pocket and smiled as he pat the unonscious private om the head.
"Well done" he said, trying to immitate the captain's voice, "Now, I'll be sure to come in and strip this ship clean of any computer spike or other valuables I may find useful. I'll want to use them to block out the thermal sensors of the next ship computer I slice, of course."
As he put everything he needed in a bag, he put a card into the still incapacitated captain's hands. "Gotta think three steps ahead, boys." he laughed as he dissapeared out of the bridge and moved on to the hangar to where his freighter was.

Class: Ambassador of the Lotor region on Zenqufar
Discription:
Planet- The planet has 3 regions and each region has a separate ruler. Rulers all have monthly meetings and share some policies with each other while have different preferences on certain issues, depending on the issue. Citizens are free to move to other regions for whatever reason if they don't approve of their ruler's tactics. There is no poverty on Zenqufar and it is truly a paradise, with warm temperatures and sunny skies. The sun is a large band that stays in the same spot at all times of day and can not be covered by clouds. It is customary to wear incredibly light-weight clothing so that daily life and combat can be easily executed in the tropical climate. The planet is 40% water. The water is incredibly clean and clear.
Character- Incredibly soft skin. It is considered unattractive to have skin that is not ridiculously soft. Long red hair that flows in the wind (no really) but is taken care of very well. Usually wears the lightweight native clothes, called gonfsue, of her planet. Gonfsue for females consist of, in simpler cases, a knee length skirt with cuts on the sides and a short sleeve or no sleeved tank top. However, in royal cases, as in Hasmaldaa's, the skirt is incredibly ornate and the top is ALWAYS a tubetop with an incredibly decorative trim. It is customary to wear no make-up, for make-up is considered a blemish to the skin, which is considered incredibly pure and not to be messed with. She also wears sandals that are made very well and grip to feet almost perfectly, and would not come off even if she was upside down. [unless she took them off, of course.]

Equipment: She wears lots of elaborate light weight jewelry. Oh, and one more thing. She trained secretly with her brother and is an expert in combat. ;D she uses a lightsaber but isn't a jedi like her bro, mmmkayyy. But she only fights in dire situations. [I know, how lame&canon. So sue me.]

"Hasmaldaa, are you ready?" he asked her, staring at her intently, as if unable to bring his gaze from her breathtaking beauty.

"Yes." She sighed, turning from her perch on the balcony overlooking the lush grounds of her large fortress, allowing her to see the entire span of the land which she ruled over. Her long hair was styled in a traditional way, with a single braid wrapping around her hairline, as if to put a border on her head.

She made her way down the winding staircase to the cruiser waiting to take her from her planet below.

As she stepped into the ship and sat on the seat cushion, she looked out the window. She saw the familiar sight of the windows darkening as they left the planet, familiar scenery vanishing. But this time it was different. Something seemed wrong...

She heard a seismic boom come from behind her and immediately closed her eyes. She knew that sound- she had heard it once before. It was the sound of a planet being destroyed.

The vessel erupted in chaos. All attendants where from Zenqufar, so naturally they'd be in chaos. But there was another reason-

An enemy had boarded the ship.

Hasmaldaa's muscles tensed. Would this be the first time she'd have to test her skills in real combat?

She stood up from her seat and escaped to a smaller, adjoining room to find it was a dead end that happened to be a weapons closet. [lulz how lame of me]

Every muscle in her body tightened as she withdrew the small cylinder she knew would produce the weapon that could save her life.

She gripped the small item cautiosly before closing her eyes and jamming a thumb on the button in the center.

A green light whirred out of the edge, causing her to lose her balance. She regained it almost immedietly and tightened her grip on the weapon.

She was ready. She could fight.

Species: Sith Lord
Gender: Male
Age: ? pretty old
Class: Sith Lord
History: Ardin Nor is of the species of Ancient Sith Lords who were Massassi that were mated with the Dark Jedi that separated 25k years before a New Hope. The species of Massassi and Sith were considered to be quite nearly wiped out by what Naga Sadow had done in the war versus the Jedi in the times of the Golden Age of the Sith. However, Ardin Nor, being a younger Lord at the time, left Ziost and returned to Korriban. It was here he came to be in contact with spirits of the ancient Dark Lords and listened to their warnings. He undertook a ritual of deep sleep learning more ways of becoming in tune with his powers and also his history and would awaken in this new time on the setting of Korriban.
Description: He has long cinnamon brown hair that is in braids and a crown to distinguish his position as a Sith Lord of old. His skin is red and his eyes yellow and he has some black tattoo marks on his forehead that almost look like claw marks. His stature is muscular and he is a tall man of 6'4 and though his hands have talons for fingernails and his skin is ruddy, and eyes are yellow, otherwise he looks close to a distinguished human. His clothing is relatively scant, wearing a sort of Egyptian skirt, leather thick bands over a chest plate which hold a sword to his back, and he walks with a staff that with a twist of the center can reveal a nasty spear. He also dons sandals for his clawed feet. Adornments such as gold bracers and shin guards are also worn with little Sith emblems engraved in them.
Equipment: He wears ancient times Sith Armor which is a chest plate, arm bracers, leg bracers and otherwise looks somewhat Egyptian in appearance, a crimson cloak and has a Sith jagged sword and also a spear that is very jagged in the design of ancient Sith weaponry which both at the metal parts can withstand contact with a lightsaber as depicted in the books.
Force Powers: Telekinesis, Sith Alchemy, Absorb/Dissipate Energy (in order to take blasts from blasters and such), "Jedi Mind Trick".

The universe was a new place. He looked out through the front of the small ship he had acquired. It was nothing more than a light stock freighter that had taken some damage...mostly because of him, but he was nonetheless hoping it would take him to a planet close by. Had that impetuous youth studying the 'dark ways' not fired at Ardin Nor when he had approached, none of this would have happened. Maybe he would have taught the young dark Jedi...maybe not. He was not sure what he was interested in yet, but one thing was for sure. He had years to catch up on and acclimate with the new universe in a time when his people were pretty well written out of history. He had found no people of his alive. Only these humans who had come to Korriban seeking knowledge that wasn't rightfully theirs.

A space port was coming into view. These new ships were definitely so much more efficient than in his time. They had hyperdrive. It made clearing out of the old system so much easier. As he neared the space station the comm light lit up. "Identify yourself" he heard a young male voice say.

He pushed a few random buttons but nothing seemed to be the Comm to speak back with. "Oh bother" he grumbled. After a bit, the voice came back. "Please identify yourself. If you cannot, report to Bay 32 and we will send a team to your area."

Ardin Nor shrugged. He could fly the ship by the manual as he had been learning for a few weeks and now was leafing through the pages to find where the darn comms were to send out a communication. He figured this ship was on its last leg any way so he just tossed the book back and flew the ship to the bay. Fortunately for him, the ship was collected in a tractor beam as he drew closer and it brought the vessel in to land. Great doors sealed behind the ship and he disembarked the vessel as a group of soldiers ran up. "Are your comms down? Are you alright?" a concerned young man asked.

Ardin Nor smirked. "I am fine. I think more is out on this ship than just comms." As he said that, a few plates of the ship fell to the ground making a metal symphony of booms. "Now, where can I get some food?" He strolled off as a couple guards pointed towards a tavern. They were now not sure how he had gotten there alive and he wasn't more in a panic. Another plate fell off and they winced. This was going to be a long day.

 

Well, you can be an ambassador, but it has to be a real star wars planet. Maybe from Onderon since I just realized Onderon hasn't become part of the republic at this time. Since you want a lightsaber you have to provide me with a good reason for your character to have one because you can't really just buy one at a store and having a jedi brother would mean that you couldn't see him since you are from another world and he would be off at the academy on Dantooine or Coruscant doing his training and wouldn't come see you because Jedi don't believe in attachments. He probably wouldn't know of your existance because Jedi are taken at a very young age.

In KOTOR time, I don't think it was so stringent that Jedi give up attachments as bad as in EP 1, but maybe Orange, a way to get the lightsaber would be that it was from a fallen comrade your character was helping at one time? Usually about the only way to get a lightsaber in SW is from a fallen Jedi or you make it yourself or some Jedi gives a padawan one.

And thanks, Ghetto. Was wondering if you'd get what direction I was going with the character. I decided since it was KOTOR time, why not have an old 'actual' Sith. It seemed fun to try since Golden Age of the Sith was one of my favorite series. Sith Alchemy = fun. ~.~

Class: Spice runner, has only a small crew of good friends, who I will all play as NPC's.
Description: Dark red in skin Tone, with dark green eyes, he stand about,
6"7, weighing about 170 pounds respectivly.
He wears a brown trenchcoat,
sash open to show an old Imperial vest, stolen or his own, does not matter,
and black pantaloons.
He wears tall black boots made from died Wampa Leather,
making him appear even closer to 7 feet tall.

He basically has a Han Solo Attitude,
but is also similar to Luxord from KH II,
willing to help anyone with alota money,
whether they're good or bad guys,
and very smart with words and card games.

He's not a bad guy himself,
but not entirely soft-hearted either.

He can even escape the Taris Blockade with his ship,
The Krayt hunter.

His crew includes:
Bransis Trouy, a short-tempered Bothan Co-pilot.

Poi Polt, a easily upsetned and frightened chadra-fan.

Kyana Gres- a shape-shifing female Sith experiment.

JR-13- The Hauler ship's robotic chef.

Equipment: E-11 rifle, DL-44 hand gun, arc blaster rifle. Can throw thermal detenators precisely,
but isn't stupid enough to keep them on him at all times.
Kyana weilds a lightsaber,
and has taught him how to use one,
but usually doesn't use any.
Force Powers: Next to none,
because he's force sensitive,
but doesn't know.

Jart looks around at the cantina scene,
noting on everyone's action fluently while imbibing his own drink slowly.

This was going to be one hell of a day,
he knew that.....

Something about the presence of one of the people in the room
sent him a sort of feeling of dread...

And the stormtroopers suddenly marching single-file through the doorway,
into the cantina,
justified his dread.

He quickly set down his drink,
and started to scoot out of the booth he was in.

While most of the troopers were inspecting some kid down near the bar,
he tried slipping out the back way with the flood of everyone else.

But no such luck...

Before he could react,
he heard out a cry,
"Arrest that Lethan!"
Coming from a synthesized helmet,
and felt a hard thud of galatic code plastic against his head.

Thus he fell into a darkness of sleep,
feeling as though he was being dragged by some unknown force.

Discription: Spiky black hair, formed with the rest of his hair, with a clean shape up, with the back and sides. Eyes are very innocent looking, but his face is of a serious nature. White skin. Small red lips and piercing on one ear. Usually seen wearing a yellow muscle shirt, and several chokers and necklaces on. Wearing black jeans, with a belt buckle of a B. Also wearing many hand bands.
-Personality is more of an innocent and kiddish act, but was soon washed away because of his families murder. Always acting immature at the wrong times. Really damn care and doesn't give a **** about all the war, but still tries to protect himself from the enemies. He ran away from his home, due to the constant arguments with his brother, who is with the republic. Currently on the run looking for Zayne, who has killed the rest of his family in Taris.
Equipment: A swiss army knife and just fists. He knows how to use a lightsaber, which his brother gave him.
Force Powers: None.

Demo Post:

He stared at the wall. He was covered in dirt and shrubs trying to look for food. He wiped a tear of his face. So many years...why do all this? He remembered when he was with his family in Taris, and even though the neighborhoods were dangerous, it taught him how to deal with tight situations and plan strategically.
"Bud! Don't go!", he heard. The last words his grandmother said before he barged out of the door and ran to the woods. He could still hear his grandmother crying. But those tears would soon be dried up and done. Zayne...you *******. That man...destroying lives like that. He couldn't take it. He turned his head. He heard something...someone whispering something. He slowly walked toward the end of the cave floor, peeking outside slowly. It was nothing.

Why am I always hearing things? He was sure he heard something this time. He turned around and something grabbed his left shoulder. A firm grip...

Discription: About 2 meters tall (Around 6 feet) Dark skinned, short black hair. Wears a brown robe with a hood, though the hood is usualy down. He has a very short temper and while he was still on Dantooine many masters warned him about his emotions and the dark side.
Equipment: Basic Jedi equipment. Lightsaber that he built on his own, the blade is silver.

Demo Post: Kam stood on a republic ship, the Endar Spire. He stood on the bridge, looking through the viewport, watching two star fighter squadrons race towards a Mandalorian Star Destroyer.

"Kam, I need you over here." said a familiar voice.

He turned his attention towad the owner of the voice as fast as he could.

"Yes master" Said Kam as a quickly walked over to his master.

"I want you to take a shuttle and go down to the moon below. Scout around and tell me what you see, okay?" Said the Revanchist, or Revan as he was being called in the latest holo-news reports.

"Yes master." Said Kam as he turned and walked off the bridge. When he reached the tubolift he entered the code for the hangar bay where his shuttle would be waiting. While he waited for the turbolift to reach his destination, he looked at his lightsaber as it hung from his belt. Looks like you're going to see some action he thought to himself as a mentaly prepared for the first of many missions.

The doors of the turbolift opened, revealing the hangar where his shuttle was waiting for him.

"Let the war begin" He said with a grim look on his face.

Jet was running through a hanger bay looking for a ship to get in, he was in a ship hovering in space over Hoth, "Come on where's the ship!?!??!" He exclaimed. He suddenly caught his eyes on an x-wing he sped towards it, opened up the top hatch and then got in, "Oh yes this is what I'm talking about!" He started the engine and then zoomed of into space. He was flying over Hoth when suddenly the ship shook and the control panel was saying his engines were hit. He was plummeting towards the icicle planet....Was this the end???

 

First time trying an Extended RP,go easy on me.And Ghetto,my character will be on the Endar Spire for now,if you dont mind that is.

Description: A Black Male,about 5'9..He has curly black hair and a muscular build.Brown eyes.Wears a brown robe and keeps the hood over his head whenever possible.Jedi Students dont trust him,Jedi Masters worry about him.He is only an inch away from becoming corrupted.
Equipment: A Green Lightsaber he built on his own.Standard Padawan Equipments.

"..Peace..is a lie.."Rayce muttered silently,gazing out at the Mandalorian Star Destroyer in the distance.He was standing on the Endar Spire,A Republic Capital Ship,witnessing two star fighter squadrons racing toward's it. Is this truly peace...is this what our master's didnt want us to see?.. he thought,shutting his eyes and folding his arms,trying to think about the Code.

"Kam,I need you over here"

Rayce opened his eyes and gazed over at the two Jedi,making their way off the bridge.Was he the only one thinking intensely about the Code,realizing that War was full of emotion,and that they were heading right in it?He peered down at the hilt of his lightsaber,wondering if choosing the path of the Jedi was the true path...did he choose wrong?..were the Sith the real defenders of peace in the Galaxy?He dissaproved of many methods they used,but they kept the peace..but only out of fear.

Well, first of all, I want a more detailed escription of your character, not just a picture. Second of all, there isn't an actual time force power, or really an aura one for that matter, and padawans can only have two in this RP. Read the rules and the list of powers and thier descriptions, and also, lightning is a sith power and you didn't say anything about you're relationship to the dark side. As for your demo post, Hoth isn't on of the planets we will be using in this RP since I'm almost posotive it wasn't discovered at this time, and the x-wing class ship hasn't even been invented yet. I strongly suggest that you go read the first post.

I love how your character is close to the dark side and working with Revan, the only problem I have is how did he learn the sith code? Revan and Alek(Malak) are not sith yet at this time, this is the begining of the war and they haven't visited Korriban yet, but if you can provide some other valid reason as to why he knows it then I'll except that.
