Yup, Enix and Tri-ace stepped up again to make another sequel ! Go to www.Square-Enix.com, click north american, then click the news for "SQUARE ENIX PARTY PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT" scroll down and it has all of their release information regarding this game as well as any other stuff they are working on in relation to the announcements they made a few days ago. If you're too lazy to do that, here's what it says word for word: "STAR OCEAN 4 (tentative title) Platform: TBA Genre: RPG Release Date: TBA The latest addition to the series is planned for next-generation hardware, and is currently being developed in cooperation with tri-Ace. This title is primed to push next-gen technology to its limits while delivering an experience worthy of the STAR OCEAN name." So yea, it will probably be on PS3 or Xbox360. I doubt it will be on the Wii >_>
I remember reading about this a few weeks ago. I did like Star Ocean 3, so hopefully this will be even better.
Yiazmat SO 3 was a good game. Not a big fan of the storyline, though. The battle system is, like, genius.
