Square-Enix has revealed its E3 lineup on its we8site, 8oasting a 'stellar lineup' of six games. While this lineup includes some 8ig-name games, there is a noticea8le a8scence of Kingdom Hearts 3D, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Type-0, which is sure to disappoint fans and Kingdom Hearts fansites alike. (We could always start covering Hitman though, right?) In other news, for those not attending E3, we have still 8een promised some inform8ion first-hand. The Tomb Raider trailer will 8e released on the we8site on the 3rd of June, while the Hitman: Absolution trailer will 8e released on the 9th. This release of inform8ion seems to de8unk the rumours of a Final Fantasy remake, 8ut one can always hope. Maybe Square is just trying to hold the news 8ack to surprise us at E3. Yeah. That's gotta 8e it. Source
They must be keeping those for the Tokyo Game Show this year. The absence of FF Type-0 is strange, however since it's due out this summer in Japan.
Yeah, woo . This means I'm not excited at all, but should probably fill this post with more info so it doesn't get deleted. Not interested.
Folk who didn't like FFXIII aren't, but I'm excited for it! =D That and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Hitman: Absolution and Tomb raider.
She was attempting to use a sarcastic 'woo' to portray her expect8ions that XIII-2 will be lacklustre in comparison to the other games that are not going to 8e shown.
I figured. I'm excited for another game to buy once I get a PS3. I'll always buy FF, even if it's a direct sequel. (which for some reason not many people seem to enjoy except for VII)
That and Reptar is generally very negative to anything not Mass effect 3. ;P Don't forget about the rumours of a potential FF remake. It's a rumour, but hey add it. Might be true.
I'm not really surprised about this lack of Kingdom Hearts actually. Square has been quite lacking in anything new lately, and I guess they're just falling short on rabbits to pull out of the hat. They will probably pull a Duke Nukem and delay KH3D for (quite) a while longer.
Okay, mentioned it. Personally I don't think it's particularly likely now that we have this list, 8ut hey, denial is fandom's middle name.
I'm actually a bit surprised that there isn't VS XIII on here. I'm fear that VS XIII (and, consequently, KH3) will be the next Duke Nukem Forever. :c
I have given FFXIII another chance and I am warming up to it, But I just don't think it deserves a sequel. PSHHH TOTALLY NOT TRUE :'c I'm excited for Dead Island.
lol, that's what they may be going for. xD ...or they're keeping it under wraps. FFXIII sold well (despite the fans mixed reviews), and they had a lot of material left so it makes sense they use what they got to make cash. Oh Reptar, you know I'm teasing. ;3 Tomb Raider's turning point trailer. It's certainly one to look for at E3. The new Lara looks sooooooooo much better!
It was revealed back in 2006. If they're keeping it under wraps, then it better be a damn good game when it comes out.
Yeah, but there isn't much known about the game besides a few details on gameplay and story. My bet is on TGS this year.
