I'll admit, I haven't paid much attention to this story that happened last week. Now that I'm reading more about it, I am actually devastated. Details so far: At least 87 bodies have been found, the coast guard says South Korean President says she and others are filled with "rage and horror" Four more crew members have been arrested, authorities say 237 people are still missing; 174 have been rescued via CNN My condolences to those who've lost loved ones, and I hope those missing people are found (alive hopefully).
The South Korean President has actually condemned the conduct of some of the crew, calling it "akin to murder". Harsh words but from what the Crew has explained to us so far, so many more people may have been saved if an evacuation had been ordered sooner. My hearts goes out to those who've lost their loved ones, I can't even imagine what they're going through.
"Most of them students." That... That sent a chill up my spine. Aaaand this is why I'm terrified of deep water.
