Sound Issues with the TrainTown Deluxe Game

Here's another game that I've started playing again recently.

I'm not sure if anyone here knows it, but Ive been having issues with the sound. The music plays fine, but the sound effects, such as a train whistle, come and go. This happened the last time I installed it, too.

I know it worked, though. I'm not sure how many times it was installed before this recent one and the one before this recent one, but I know it didn't have any sound issues then.

Like I said in my Even More Contraptions Game Freezes thread, I still have Windows XP, so nothing has changed in terms of Windows version.
