Sora VS Riku

Who's your favorite main character in Kingdom Hearts?

 

TOO HARD!



Sora and Riku are both awesome! Riku is much cooler looking and just plain awesome, but the whole series revolves around Sora and he just murders all enemies!




Over all, however, since Riku seems very similar to Shadow the Hedgehog, my favorite character from my all time favorite series, I'm gonna vote for Riku.

Riku is my favorite all-around character. I just love watching him grow and develop from a villianous rival in KH, to a sacrificial best friend in KHII, to an official Keyblade Master in DDD. He's a dynamic character, and he's held my interest throughout the series.

Of course, I love Sora too. It's really hard not to, with all his optimistic bravado. But Riku has always been my favorite. I doubt that's going to change.

 

Favorite character is Roxas,but since it's only Riku vs Sora, I pick Riku. Sora gets annoying after a while. Riku on the other hand had darkness, and can do more awesome things than Sora at times (like that time he killed Lexaeus).

 

Sora has got to be my favorite character in the Kingdom Hearts series because he's really funny ^ ^ Compared to Riku--he's not all as gloomy and self-edged. Another reason is that Sora didn't betray Kairi and go to the dark side of the force unlike Riku did in the beginning.

 

I'd have to say Sora was my favorite between the 2.

Riku has this constant self-pity atmosphere around him that always made me feel on edge.

Sora also just seems like a more simple character. Not as complex and "Mysterious" as Riku.

 

Definitely Riku.
He has had so much character development from being a villain to a hero and he seems like a guardian over everyone and truly wants to prove to everyone that he has changed and wants to give them hope. Also, he gives great advice to his friends and those in need. (Remembering a scene from 358/2 Days when he tells Xion to reunite with Sora and to set things right.)

 

If it's just between these two . . . i'm gonna go with Sora. Riku is cool and everything, but Sora is . . . well Sora.

Also, my favorite character just happens to be Roxas . . . and without Sora there would be no Roxas.

 

I will say I like Sora more because technically he is Roxas and I love Roxas. But for real, Sora has some sort of deep character development that has gone through over the years. I sense it will be even deeper once KHIII comes on the table. Riku is just too moody for me to really appreciate.

Well out of Sora and Riku, Sora would be my pick. Probably just because he is the main character.

 

I'd have to say Riku--sorry Sora... My reason is that Riku isn't as childish as Sora. I like the kind of people who put their pride into their job--as a Keyblade master. I don't like Riku, but I'll choose him over Sora if I had to.

 

Sora. I really don't care for Riku.

The innocence of Sora is what draws me to him. I like his character, he's entertaining and I love to see him interact with other characters.

I don't like Riku. He's too brooding for me to be able to enjoy him in any way.

 

Riku! I mean, Soras good and all, but Riku has style.

 

Riku due to having more character development than Sora, being one of the only guardians of lights who can use darkness, for walking the road in-between, for redeeming himself, for being the deurtagonist and for being friends with the King.

 

...I really wish this had more characters on it. I mean, don't get me wrong I love both Sora and Riku, but they are kind of... what is the word... redundant in their plotlines? I prefer seeing Riku's story repeated over and over again... I'm going to make my decision based on KH3D. And with that I say Riku, not because of Sora's shortcomings, but because I felt Riku FINALLY beat his demons. Took him long enough...

 

I always saw Sora representing the Disney side of the game while Riku represents the Final Fantasy side.

That said, despite being a total idiot sometimes I prefer Sora as a main character opposed to Riku. Sora makes the game much more light-hearted and doesn't really angst. That said as a character I like Riku better
