Kingdom Hearts II Sora remembers everything now?

I'm not sure if someone posted this since I don't want to go through hundreds of forums so don't flame me and just give me a notice that it's been done.

and no, he does not remembers EVERYTHING since his chain of memories got changed.

in the one bug's notepad, the notes from KH1 were deleted and only a message was left: "Thanks Namine"

ok, now, since namine showed roxas and they had their little chat, i guess sora is old enough to understand the situation....

 

When Sora awakened he remembered everything from KH1 and as he traveled. However, in CoM Namine told him he would have to choose between having the fabricated memories she put in his mind and of his time at the Castle Oblivion, or he would have to have his original memories back but remember nothing of his time in Castle Oblivion to include her. Sora chose to have his memories restored that he had prior to coming to the Castle so Namine worked on that.

This is why later when opening the journal, all that is there on a page is 'Thank Namine' as a reminder. Sora apparently cannot get the former memories of Castle Oblivion back or know Roxas's memory either; at least at this time. However, he remembers his past on DI, his KH dealings and the KH2 events. He just is pretty much missing the time he had spent during CoM. Hope that explains it better.

 

I hope someone translates it cause I can only get an idea of what he said so I do not get yelled at by people

Translation:
Sora: "I couldn't tell her..."
Riku: "Huh?"
Sora: "Tell Naminé. 'Thank you'. I just felt like if everything wasn't back the way it should be, I couldn't just say it so easily"
Riku: "Let's end this. Then... you can see her whenever you want."
Sora: "Yeah!"

Anyway, from the translation, it sounds like he might have remembered. However, he could just know that Namine is Kairi's Nobody, but nothing else. The journal said "Thank Namine." But that was it. Either hearing Kairi say her name might've triggered the Chain of Memories to return or he just knew that he had to thank a person named Namine without knowing why.

 

He might've, he might've not. You can easily say he knew Namine's name was...Namine, by Kairi mentioning it, and he remembered the note that was in the journal that reminded him to say "Thank you", and he made that connection by easily putting two and two together.

However, you might also say he did remember the events of Castle Oblivion, due to the deep connection he and Namine have (remember the special way she was created), so when she returned to be whole with Kairi, the memories perhaps opened with that connection. I like that better, because I do want him to remember what happened in CoM, is a part of him, and I thought it was pointless to make him forget it. Even, the director himself led more to this fact.

yeah, he didnt knwo who namine was because the CO memories are gone
