Guess what's baaaaaack! I don't know why they bother anymore. It's just going to keep getting shot down. Hollywood's Copyright Lobbyists Are Like Exes Who Won't Give Up Source: Slate Published: March 10, 2014
I just don't understand why they haven't dropped it. The internet has become too big now to stop, to destroy in any way, also, giving control to the big companies is exactly what we don't want because the internet is for everyone to share information. I am looking forward to seeing this shot down.
All they all want is the power and the control. If people didn't get so wiled up about this the first time around I bet it would of got passed. They aren't going to stop to try to pass this cancerous law every year.
there's no point in even posting about this we know this won't work out. They've tried this now for twice I believe?
You can say it's a sure shot if you want, but it pays to stay vigilant when it comes to things like this. These lobbyists don't care how we want our internet or what we think of them, they'll keep trying to push this through 'til it works. Hopefully we can count on the same companies to keep fighting this.
Yeah, I can see them continuing to try this until they present it in such a way that fits and doesn't seem so bad so it gets passed and then everything gets crapped up. I just hope it doesn't come to that.
most likely but I think by the end of it the people who are supposed to approve it would still see the faults in it. Honestly it seems so stupid though how do you present something like this in such a way without hiding half the true intent or outright lying
Just put enough green paper around it. It' s 100% legal in the US and it works most of the time. Nova' s right, let your guard down and the ex-girlfriend is in for some GHB.
GHB? i'm not good with abbreviations but I understand the analogy for the most part haha. How could a simple thing like bribing well "funding" slip my mind. that is another way they could force the law to be approved but still it'd be like a digital version of prohibition if that's spelled correctly I mean look at how many sites they've blocked and look how many alternates people have made.
You can't censor the internet. IT NEVER WILL. It's become so integrated in our lives that it'll get shot down before it can even get a stand on. Unless they want a total collapse of the country, they better stop what they'e doing before it gets ugly.
