This certainly would be... an interesting title.
Sony has a real varied collection of games, it would be hard to actually see Parappa and Kratos go head on. But if this is true it might actually sound like a real fun game.

Seems like a good idea to me. I loved the Smash Bros. games. The only thing I would worry about is if it becomes a bit too much of a ripoff of Dissidia. Not that it would be bad, but it would lack a bit of originality.

Well, this is quite the treat, even if it's only a rumor.

I wouldn't mind having this actually. There are plenty of fighting games in the market but this would make a nice change.

Besides that, having some of Sony's most iconic characters in one game would appeal to plenty of fans. I know i'm already pumped to see Nathan Drake, Sly Cooper and a Jak & Daxter stage.

Its something worth trying out for I mean many would probably like it. Smash Bros for the Nintendo was pretty awesome and now for Sony...it would be interesting.

Hope it'll turn out good. Would love to play as Nathan Drake in a game like this.

A Sony Smash Bros.? This sounds interesting. We could have Ratchet and Clank, and maybe Nathan Drake. Wondering how this is going to work out.

I've seen this either be rumored or wanted SO many times, but now it looks like it might actually be true. To be honest, I've always been pretty opposed to it. Sony just doesn't have any of those iconic characters like Nintendo does. The only character that was ever close to be iconic, was Crash, who they don't own the rights to anymore, and his iconicness has died out over the course of the years. I guess now they have Sackboy, who is meant to be pretty iconic, but I just don't see it.

The reason why Smash Bros. worked so well was due to it having all these colourfull, iconic characters, like Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, etc. Sony DOES have a lot of characters, yeah, but their collection is far from iconic, and definitely not colourful. Nathan Drake, Nathan Hale, Rico (Killzone), Nahman Jayden, Cole, and so on. Sony just has way too many realistic characters for this to truly work, in my opinion anyway. I guess they could do something, but I have huge doubts it will be as good as Super Smash. And this is coming from someone who never liked Super Smash Bros. in the first place.

Sony's more focused on third party games, which makes you wonder. Would they bring in third party characters? I'm fairly certain that it could be costly, but it'd be far easier to draw people in.

I could see a certain number of characters that are seen as iconic Sony characters, being placed in a game but like what Super Smash Bros. such as Lightning, Cole McGrath or Nathan Drake. But PS1 and PS2 games have a few characters that could be included too, which could still be seen as part of the Sony brand.

I don't care too much about a Sony brand Smash Bros. game a the moment, their characters are not that iconic and I doubt that I would find it that enjoyable.
