Video Sony vegas 7.0

    Is there any way to make avi and mp4 video files work on sony vegas....all i ever get is the sound files but I want the video...I can't make a new amv with out it...and usually the converters i find make the quality of the videos way worse...so any one know any good solutions??

    Well, i use Sony Vegas 7 as well and what i do is i just convert the video file into a Mpeg. I use this program called "Vdownloader" which allows me to instantly get videos from youtube and convert them from avi to mpeg. The file uploads onto vegas with both audio and video.

    But thats just how I do it. Dont know if that'll help.

    What I do is get a AVI converter program and convert all my AVI files into WMV files. (It's better that way and it keeps the same quality as did in AVI format. =D)

    I think I use a codec. Just search for "Sony Vegas AVI Codec" on Google or something. Not sure about MP4 though.
