Well , this seems to be the problem , I had Sony Vegas 10 a while ago , but then tried to uninstall it , it didn't fully uninstall , i don't know what happened , but i can't reinstall it either. if i go into
control panel > Uninstall programs here is what shows up [IMG] And then , when i try to uninstall this , it comes up with this [IMG]

I'm really not sure what to do , i want to reinstall Vegas 10 , but can't seem to do so x.x Anybody have anything that could help me?

Have you tried running the System Restore program and restoring your computer to before you installed Sony Vegas?

If i did that , i'd lose most of my other stuff. and i'd rather not have that happen. Plus , i'd screw up my computer , i've tried a system restore once and it damaged my computer or something , i had to format everything and then install window's 7 over vista :\

Well not to point out the obvious but it looks like it's trying to find a file called "vegas100.msi" to complete the uninstall. Click that browse button and make sure that file is in the folder it's pointing to, if not search your computer for that file name and change the path.

Well that's why it won't uninstall, it needs the .msi file to do it. Do you have the install disk for vegas or did you just download it somewhere?

I downloaded it from somewhere. But i can't remember from where or when.

EDIT: I removed the MSI file using Windows installer clean up utility , so the problem is now resolved
