I've owned both consoles, I now own a PS3. Also, if I can say anything, they really are pretty much the same thing. Oh sure, you can say how HD your PS3 plays your cod4, but in reality, after hooking up an HDMI cable to an Xbox, they really are the same thing. I guess having Kratos as a secret unlockable character makes your system better than pretty much your system. /sarcasm

"The PS3 version exclusively included a PC version of the game and Steam integration."

That is actually not a bad deal. Hell, I should've gotten the PS3 version. :B

Interesting if true. If this gives the PS3 what it needs to stay competitive, I'll be happy. Because, hardware and software aside, the PS3 has an image, a brand of its own, that tends to attract games I like. Less so than the PS2's glory days, but the spirit is there. Mostly the only reason I miss my 360 is for XBLA; any game I had on that system I could get for PS3, and most of 'em would run just fine. Granted, I've heard some real horror stories about the PS3 version of Bayonetta...

It's all about preference. I prefer my Xbox, since I've had it longest and most of my friends have it, so I use it more. But I like the PS3 a lot as well, since it holds greater amounts of memory and on occassions better graphics and smoothness.
But in the end, I don't buy a PS3 or Xbox for the label, I buy them because of the software, and the games being released on each. With great games like Halo and Infamous being console exclusive, I buy the hardware for the great software. I rarely care about extra content unless it's on a game I truly care about, and instead I care aobut price more.
The two companies will keep going at each others hardware, all they reallycare is about sales after all.
