Chapter 1-The Awakening It was 1 year after the events of Sonic 06,after the defeat of Mephilies(the real bad guy in Sonic 06).Sonic wasnt able to rest at all because he felt something in his body.He then decided to go for a run...and while was speeding across the forest...he saw a light flash in his eyes,then when he woke up,he was on fire and ran into the lake and forgot he cant swim,and jumped out.When he took a look around,he saw a stone,a new emerald,much like a star,it showed flames inside the emerald.As Sonic picked it up,his body absorbed the emerald and his body bursted into flames but he wasnt burning,he felt power flowing through him.He thrust his hand out and shot a fireball out of his hand and created fire but he picked flames up and extinguished them.Sonic didnt know wat he did,but he knew that the power he now has could be a problem. Sonic sped back to the city and he ran straight to Tails' training base,sonic uses this base to train to defeat robots that Tails designed just for Sonic to improve his combat skills.Sonic reached the base and talked to Tails. Sonic:Yo Tails,what's up? Tails:Not much Sonic...i just added a new combat buddy for you. Sonic:Who is it? Tails:Its Silver! Sonic:Cool,we never really finished the fight back then.(flashbacks) (Sonic and Silver fighting) Silver:Nooo. Sonic:Hey! (Silver blasts Sonic) (Sonic hits the wall) Silver:Hmph,is this a joke,how could someone like u cause the destruction of our world? Sonic:What do ya,mean? Silver:It doesnt matter,for the sake of the future,i must destroy the iblis trigger. ???:STOP!!!!! (Amy shields Sonic) Sonic:Amy? Silver:Get out of the way Amy,this is my mission! Amy:ABSOULUTY NOT!!!! (Silver backs down) (Flashback over) Sonic:Now we can finish the fight! Tails:Yezh,but he has a new power it was kinda weird! Sonic:What did it look like? Tails:It was a star like chaos emerald,it had a snowflake on it,well inside and it was light blue. Sonic:So we both have this! (Sonic shows him the emerald) Tails:It has flames in it,yeah and i can fire attacks! Tails:I dont know what it is but it seems pretty cool! Silver:That is because only hedgehogs can use it's power! Sonic:Silver! Silver:Hey Sonic!Good to see you.But only hedgehogs who have used the power of the chaos emeralds can use these Star Emeralds. (A voice suddenly spoke up) ???:It's power is unimaginable! Sonic:Eggman! Eggman:So Sonic,Silver,you've aquired the emeralds already huh?I shall take them for my new machine. Sonic:Well,Mr.Let go my eggos!Let's dance! Sonic and Silver fight against Eggman. Sonic attacks with a headbutt,but misses and gets hit in the back. Silver charges after Eggman and teleports behind him...and says...! Silver:Blizzard Wave!! Eggman became frozen and Sonic stands up and throws a gigantic fireball at Eggman,which hits,but he doesnt die,he managed to escape the fiery blast. Eggman:This isnt over!Shadow will get you all!
