Go Sega and Sonic and even better...TAILS!!! Here's where to discuss your favorite Sonic or just plain Sega game. I'm old-fashioned and like Sonic Advance 3.
The first Sonic game I've had much to play with was the second one on the Game Gear. Therefore, I didn't even know Sonic existed. XD I began to get absorbed into the Sonic world with the release of the Dreamcast and Sonic Adventure where I first discovered him. Durin' that span, my first favorite character was Tails before Gamma became a long runnin' favorite Then, Sonic Adventure 2 came and now Shadow is mah favorite, though unlike some fans, I still consider Sonic the best, cause if it weren't fer him, you wouldn't have anyone else. The Sonic fandom itself is quite a questionable one. The main complaint I have is that Sonic fans complain WAAAAYYY too much over the littlest things. Good thing Big is comin' back. o:
Probably the best Sonic game was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. It had the best storyline and gameplay I've ever seen, and was the closest to the SatAm series that I've ever found...made me happy, that game.

Here's hoping the latest Sonic game set to be released will avenge the crap that preceded. My fun with Sonic stopped the day it left the Genesis...Scratch that, Sonic 3D was where it just went down hill in my opinion. Some of the Dreamcast versions were commendable, but they just aren't enough the place Sonic in a better light. Don't **** this up Sega.
Here's my thoughts on Sonic: It was a great series that is now the ******ed kid in the group of gaming. When it tries we all just look at it like 'so cute, it's trying to be epic' and when it does something actually good, we're shocked and amazed. The series needs to be retired or sold to a decent dev.
I remember the first Sonic game I ever played. It was called Sonic 3 & Knuckles. In fact it was the VERY FIRST videogame I had ever played in my life. and I was very good at it too. I completed everything with every character and I got all the Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds with every character too. and the very first Gamecube game I ever played was Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. This thread really brings back memories. *starts daydreaming*
