Kingdom Hearts II Something odd in kh2

When you are fighting twilight thorn as Roxas use the reaction commands like normal but after lunarsault don't press anything after you land but keep attacking and you'll be moving forward at the same time and when you got the the mural part of Sora's hand and hit it you deflect off something unattackable it seems O.o like you automatically guard and a blue sphere appears around the keyblade

Explanation?

Try it, its easy just keep pressing X after you land and nothing else and it'll happen, i dont have anything to make a video of it and theres nothing on youtube so i cantpost a video unfortunately :(

 

Weird... I might try it one of these days and see what it does exactly.

it doesnt hurt him trace it just makes the keyblade eventually hit the ground and "deflect" off something that may be underneath or something, i personally thing that when TT goes under the platform his foot or some body part is there and the keyblade goes slightly through the platform and hitsit therefore deflecting off it, you know what i mean?

 

I'll try it, but I don't think it's a glitch or anything.

 

If you must mash X to get it... it might be that failing to React with triangle, and Twilight Thorn attacks you if you fail to react.

The attack Twilight Thorn does may be a blockable attack. And mashing X does block attacks if the keyblade strikes the attack itself same way pressing square does when you have guard equiped.

I haven't seen it myself, although thats what it sounds like.

Nothing like that, imean right after TT throws you in the air do the reaction command (itshis second one after keycounter) and when you land dont move just keep pressing X, before he initiates the next Rc you'll hit the floor with your keyblade and it lookslike you guard against something, try it

I had heard about this, but I've never done it. I always hit the reaction commands. I'll try it while missing that one and get back to you on the original question.​

 

Could be a glitch, but it maybe should be there. I'll check it out.

 

Maybe you hit the floor just as the Twilight Thorn was turning it.

Never has happened to me though.
