Birth by Sleep Something I noticed

Hey (I'm probably not the first to notice this but yeah want to say it) in the birth by sleep opening trailer, when you see ven falling towards his awakening platform and two blades land on it shattering it I just realized that they are kingdom key and souleater.
Just something I noticed wonder if it means something?

It's more than likely symbolizing Ven's connection with Sora and a possible one with Riku (which would explain why Riku and Vanitas wield their Keyblades in a similar manner)

I always assumed that Riku wielded it similar because
a) They both were on the Road of Darkness (or whatever you call it). Like people who follow the same type of martial arts will have same fighting stances as opposed to someone who uses a different type
and

Since MX made Vanitas from Ven, he probably trained him. He was his apprentice after all. And then when MX became Terranort, and then Xehanort's Heartless, he gave Riku his power and it was the same power he gave Vanitas
