Traditional Art Something I drew!

I drew this about 10 minutes ago...and let me tell you...Hooking up a scanner is DANGEROUS!...haha

I know it may not be much...but I love it to death! :D

 

It's unpropotional.
Try making the hands more handeled out and not so square like.
Also make the hair more floating and not just like something that just hangs there.
You should give her some curves to. Her ear is to tiny for the rest of the body.
Her mouth and nose could have been bigger. The eye is okay maybe a little long.
Just keep drawing and trying and you will get better :)
I don't mean to be harsh or anything by giving you this CnC. It's just so you can improve.

Don't take it personally or anything. I'm guessing you're still pretty young, and you've still got yeeeeears ahead of you to improve. Do a lot of observational drawing - this helps improve your skills/ways of perceiving things/understanding the structure.

 

Um... I thought her face looked kind of... square.

Nono! She's okay, but I'm just telling you what I find wrong. With a little work, she could look fine.

 

Girl, I never said you should quit - I thought in my last comment I gave the impression that you should just continue to practice, because at the stage that you're at, there's still WAAAAAAAAAaaaaAaaAAAAAAY too much room for improvement.

No, your drawing's not good enough at the moment. But with time and much much practise, there'll be a difference.

Yeah, listen to SA. You need to draw from real life before you start things like this. Learn how to manipulate a pencil. It sounds incriminating, but seriously.

Anyways it needs a bit more practice but it's good and yeah listen to SA. Just a bit more improvement start drawing things your good at first. Well thats what I did.

 

I like to draw animation..I draw them better when I'm at school cause my friends keep tellin me how good I am...This one pic was even put on the bulletien board cause the principal like it so much...I've had people in my grade that I usually never talk to tell me that I need to draw characters like that in Final Fantasy games or something...but this drawing, is only half of what I can really do...I'm just not up to it...

Right...that's GREAT how you've already got undying worshippers who flood you with ego-inflating praises. Encouragement is good but don't let it get in your head, ay? Because seriously, you DO need to improve a TAD load more if you're thinking of making 'characters like in FF'. Just to really pinpoint my tone here, I'm saying don't think yourself that great - you've still got a lot of practising to do. Don't let go of that pencil, yeah?

PS - I'd like to see something up to your real potential one of these days.
