Would you guys say that in every single disney film made, there is a character that either has a parent that is missing, or has died in the duration of the film? Because I was listing out movies, and Hercules doesn't lose any family; well, not as in dead lost. And Peter Pan as well, they didn't lose any family. Or do you guys disagree? Or even, would you say that there is no Disney movie with a child that doesn't have parent issues?

Well, given that a lot of people's issues have to do with their parents, it's unsurprisingly that a lot of Disney movies would begin there. I expect it's just easiest to have one parent... out of the picture? than to delve into other things. But I'm sure there are other Disney movies where both parents are there (or no parents).

I might need a few history experts to help figure out how late you are with this.

Maybe about a few millenia, but who's counting? It's not like we don't know I'm the sloth on this site...or in real life as my parents would say

Hercules lost his parents and then found them again. I think that counts.

The Lost Boys are the reverse of that. It's right there in the name.

I thought Herc's parents had to throw him out for his own good because of Hades, I don't remember him losing his parents.

Though I haven't seen it in years.

He was kidnapped by Pain and Panic. I think that counts as losing his parents.

Like I said, that's basically what happened with the Lost Boys, which I think counts.

Sleeping Beauty technically speaking, both her parents live and nobody other than Maleficent dies.

In Tangled she gets both her parents back.

    The Incredibles, both parents.

    Mulan, both parents, even Grandma.

That's 4 I can think of off the top of my head, but yes, for the most part most Disney films have a death occur to a/the parent(s) on screen or before the movie. Most of the time they just throw characters off cliffs.

Well I wouldn't say Hercules, because he still kept in contact with Zeus, and he still also had his adoptive parents, and he can still see his real parents whenever he wants, so I wouldn't think that Hercules counts

I don't count The Incredibles as a Disney movie. Disney didn't make it, they just own the company that did make it.
