    I LOVE THEM <3

    your shading is wonderful

I just have a problem with the 1st one. Namine's head looks too tilted, try putting it straight so its facing Roxas more. (if it is Roxas xD)

I love the second one. The third one is nice too. =] GJ

xD one thing, thats not supposed to be Namine, so, in turn, its not Roxas, and thanks, for some reason it looks a bit different then in real life though.....

*lol, looks like you got Vaan too on that quiz, eh? So I'm not alone then*

You've got a very nice way to take the shading to your potential - usually the risk of it looking choped up and bad is high, but when I see yours on these drawings it gives this nostalgic feeling that I like a lot. In your case, shadows aren't needed for this particular style because you make it work well without. The lineart is strong and that helps out with your shading.

I just got to say this right now - that way you draw the hair is pure love. It definatly looks true to what you have intended.

The chin under the mouths of the first drawing looks too short. Kind of. I'd want to see it slightly lower since that would seem more natural. The nose of the girl should be more of a sharp triangle like the boy's, or I don't know how her nose is meant to be built up like. But right now it looks odd for reaching down to the very top of the lip - there should be space in that area.

I like your choice of pose in the 2nd drawing, but it you create folds caused by the back and shoulders it will make him seem less flat in the upper body. Think of the spine and how it will go, that will help.

Very nice drawings! I'd love to see more from you. :3

all i can say coco, is wow, ive never gotten constructive critisism like that, and thank you for the complements too, i might add some pictures to here, just to keep all of them in the same area,...

now, this one is one that took a bit of time, there might be some messy parts in the hair, but honestly, i think that makes it more 'natural' so, heres this one

    http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t71/naminenobody/baileystory.jpg

ok, before i give the chance for you to ask(just cause i know it will be annoying to answer this alot) the writing IS kinda messy, so ill say what it says(without the spelling erors)

the writing above the fullbody character says "i should just disappear. no one would miss me, cause nobody cares"

the writing right below that which would be the highest text around the picture area says "you'll never be NORMAL, so why dont you just crawl back to where you came from"

the second highest text in the picture area says "look at that hair! its way too long, come on, your hair is ugly as it is so just cut it!"

and the very bottom says "just because you're my somebody, dosent mean i should like you! just disappear!"

ok, i was feeling kind of down when i drew this so thats why alot of it is kinda depressing,... anything you would like to say?

Those are really sweet pics. Shading is wonderful for all of them.

Try to fix the hand on the first one, it doesn't seem too natural if u no wat I mean. Other than that, it looks fine.

The only thing I spotted so far is the shoulders on the girl in the middle. It's like you can't see that the shoulder is a joint of the body. You don't really have to, but if you show the shape of the shoulder (round) more it could get better. Try it to see if you like it more.

*wait... I'm the first to give constructive crit to you..?*

    o:

I always thought it'd be wise to say why something is wrong and how to fix it. Otherwise, how are you supposed to know what needs changes?

yeah well, ive either gotten complements, or ive gotten, "the purportions(sp) are all wrong" and thats from someone who dosent even watch anime -_- so its kinda annoying, but when i get something like you did then im not as annoyed, so try to round the shoulders more? sounds fair,

Man, do I hear that one often... It's definatly harder to get crit on DeviantArt than it is on a forum, I can tell you that after a couple of years on both. And this particular forum seems to take cnc more serious than any other I've been to, so that is a positive thing. We just need more eyes that truely looks at a drawing and sees the "problem" it may have, and will know what it needs. When I crit I think of what my art teachers used to say when they wanted something changed.

Try to reshape the noses a bit. The hair is well drawn though.

well, alot of times i picture in my head where i want the light to be, and because i normally have it coming sort of in from the sort of middle left, i look at where there would be shadows, like take the 2nd picture for instants, alot of times you sort of round your shadows out from the point, also it took me a while till i looked (just randomly at someone xD) at the shadows and noticed where they were supposed to be, although i cant get the shadows to show theyre not floating in the middle of the sky >.<

but thanks everyone for the tips and complements, i honsestly dont get as much of them here at home <.<

You have no idea how much I love this.... The sketch looks wonderful, the composition exciting! For some reason I don't mind the eventual stiffness the legs and arms may have, it was kind of suitable for this particular image. If you ever plan on colouring this (maybe by painting it), DO IT. The results would just be... gah! <3
