The light at the next intersection turned green and then the light we were waiting at turned green, so I get going and get up to the speed limit of 25 MPH. This old lady coming out of an alley just pulls out without looking and then she's still completely oblivious because when I lay on the horn and come skidding loudly to a stop (note that the roads are wet), she doesn't even turn to see what's going on.

Pretty much something like at 3:24 here, and I think my horn was just about as long as his:

Old folks and their crazy antics. Young people are just as bad. I think middle aged is around where good drivers are normally found. Too young and they don't stay off their phones. Too old they can't remember if they have a phone thus inadvertently distracting them from driving. It's all just a complete mess.

I'm not a good driver either. I regulate at 1 hour of sleep per day and drive an hour both ways to university ... I don't fall asleep I just don't care if you're only half a cars length behind me when I merge, learn to hit your brakes (at least at that hour of the morning anyway).

Basically the roads will never be safe. Basically run. Basically don't stop running till you find a mad man with a bigger on the inside blue police box, after all he rarely crashes ... except for every other episode. Hmm, just hope the wife is on board.
