Well, I know some groups might want their conversations to be private so would it be a good idea to have a Private option for social groups. For example, groups such as the "Super elite duelists gaming league" discuss stratedgies and combos that should be kept quiet so newbs in the Duel Arena don't get a cheap win. Any thoughts?

I think PMs can do that; you know that you can send them to multiple target members at a time. I have to admit I've never been more than lukewarm about the whole "social group" phenomenon so maybe I'm biased. I don't dislike the idea, I just fear the day that the first immature member makes a fuss about not being invited to a certain group. It's more likely to happen when they can't read what that group is talking about.

That's why it'd be a good idea to have private conversations option because groups like the prem group could have private conversations. We could have the description put publically but the conversations would be put on private

Well... I can make it so that a group creator can have it so only members in that group (along with the staff) can view the contents of the group (messages, pictures).

Would like to hear more staff opinions about it though.

As long as people don't throw fits over it, I don't think it's a bad idea. Only downside of that would be that normal members that aren't in the group can't report an issue if there is one.
So I guess I'm on the fence about this.

I think it's not needed and since staff cannot always go through every social group to monitor material, which some people have posted inappropriate pics and stuff in them now and then, normal members may catch at times what we miss. I am not sure I am for this because as has been suggested, technically if something is not meant for anyone's eyes but a select few, the option to multiple pm a group of members is the other option. Some social groups are also public so they want people to join and want them to see things, so this would possibly get in the way of that as well. Also, some groups are not that active, which members might want to see too and this would block them from that.

So, I guess I lean more to saying no as it's not really needed and impedes things for both members and staff in a way. If others want it though, I'm not -that- against it, however.

Well Aqua_Heart said to make the Private feature an option so not all groups would have it activated.
