We're doing a photorealism unit in art class, so this got turned in... still awaiting a grade. I actually finished a drawing that I'm happy with.

    Behold.

    Critique? Comments? Aerith ftw?

H-holy crap that is amazing. Like AMAZING. The detail is just beyond beautiful :=D:

Excellent work, just one thing I have to say is that the head is way too big for the rest of the body. It took me a while to notice that though, but yeah otherwise I'd say it's perfect.

Excluding the background of course, this picture is absolutely phenomenal. The intense shading used gives it a good greyscale effect, and the detal is amazing. The positioning of her body whilst sitting down however seems a tiny bit distorted; she looks more like she is standing on one leg, and as Xaale stated above me her head seems a bit big for her body. Besides that I applaud your attempt at photorealism, she indeed looks quite human. I'm sure your art teacher would give you an A- at the very least.

You deserve an A++ on this! It looks amazing! It's so beautiful, and the shadows are very good! She looks so real. (I wish I could shade like that....>.<) Keep drawing! ^.^

That is absolutely beautiful, its almost hard to believe this was done by hand when it looks so perfect <3

I just have a question- how can it be photorealism when the image you copied wasn't a photo? Im confused :/

the shading is utterly perfect :3

She said that the Advent Children CGI was realistic enough that I could do this. Perhaps not a photorealism unit, just... a "drawing what you see" unit. I don't know. She never has definite guidelines. :/

Thank you sooo much everybody! :D I tried making her forehead less huge and fixing her legs, and I'm working on a decent background too. Perhaps I'll repost it eventually.
