Is my last day.

Ok I still have to do:

• 2000 word essay
• 2000 word essay
• 5000 word project
• 9000 word project

But that is all and then I am completely done.

You have no idea how ****ing scary that is.

 

Then you'll need to find an actual job...a house...create a financial plan...

I have 3 jobs :D and I might be getting a 4th.

I am a supervisor in a clothes shop.

I babysit.

I work at one of the archaeology units (though at the moment I am mainly doing environmental analysis work)

and I might be getting a 4th job at the Museum I am doing my work placement at because they want to keep me on :D


I want two cats ;~;

Well I am being put in for my management training over the summer for the clothes shop.

At the moment the Musuem want to keep me on because I am basically setting up the finds and artefacts database for the entire county. The hours of the work placement mean I can only do one of the collections, but they have a lot that could do with doing, and so want to keep me on so I can do the rest. It is pretty scary, if I **** up then I am basically screwing over the database for the entire county.

 

I wish today was my last day at school ever.

It's my final project, at University here we have to do something called a dissertation which is like our own research project etc. Mine is an analysis of an archaeological site excavated in 2005. I have to do all the environmental analysis for one specific area, which means a **** load of the past year of mine has been spent looking down microscopes at fossils and stuff.

I have to identify a **** load of stuff, and then depending on what species of various things I find, then I can build up a picture of what the environment was like in that specific area going back into the Palaeolithic :D

It's stupidly important because when I am finished the results and conclusions that I draw are going to actually be used by the person who ran the excavation when they write it all up. Meaning some of the work I am doing is going to be published x_x

 

So if your work is used to be published, will you be credited in like a book or something? because I'd buy it. ;D

 

Yes I will be, there is also another book currently being written about the excavation I was on last summer, I did some work for the environmental analysis of that site too and the work I did for that will be being used in the actual publication.

So that is two so far, and then there is a publication that is currently still in the research stage which I have contributed to and will also have my name in.
