So,

today, doctors are going to be evaluating my case to see if I'm going to be put on the transplant list (which was the reason why I was in LA last week). If they say yes (and all the doctors said last week there's no reason why I shouldn't get on the list), I move up there and can't go to school for a while because we have no idea when my donor heart is coming in. So, what would be a good activity to do while I'm waiting for a new heart?

I'm already thinking of buying a guitar before I move and learn to play some Skillet songs.

 

Hell, I'd recommend it. Picking up an instrument takes a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Try to learn some chords and scales before doing covers, though. It's not a good idea to ignore the basics.

 

Yeah, that's what I was planning to do, but my goal is to learn some covers. I'll start with basics, slowly moving towards my goal.

Read all of J.R.R. Tolkein's books. That should keep you busy for about 4 years at least. :c

 

Sounds like a perfect time to get into organ trading.
