So, the Pope was being driven around in a limo and...

He says to the driver, "You know, they're always hiring drivers for me. I never get to drive myself. Would you mind letting me drive for a bit?"

"But your Holiness, I could lose my job! And what if something were to happen? I'm sorry, but I cannot do that."

"Just for a little bit. I promise nothing will happen."

After a bit more of persuasion, the driver reluctantly swaps places with the Pope and the Pope gets behind the wheel. The driver quickly regrets his decision when the Pope floors the gas and accelerates over 100 km/h.

"Your Holiness! What are you doing? Please slow down, I'm begging you!"

The yells of the driver fall to deaf ears as the Pope keeps accelerating, now past the 200 km/h point.

At this moment, they start to hear a siren as a police car starts pursuing them, so the Pope pulls over. The driver is going nuts by now about how he's gonna lose his license and how is he gonna get another job.

Finally the cop approaches the limo, takes a short look inside, says "Excuse me for a moment" and goes back to contact the chief on the radio.

"Sir, I caught this limo was going over 200 km/h, but I don't know what to do. I mean, this is a really important person."

"What do you mean, important? Is it the mayor?"

"Oh no, much bigger"

"What, the governor?"

"Bigger"

"Are you telling me you just stopped the president?"

"Oh, I'm afraid it's bigger than the president."

"Well then, who the hell is it?"

"I think it's God."

"What? Why would you think that?"

"He's got the $#%@ Pope as a chauffeur!"
