1 HOUR, 30 MINUTES UNTIL THE HUNGER GAMES DOUBLE FEATURE PREMIER!! SO EXCITED TO GO SEE THESE MOVIES BACK TO BACK. // Floods thread with movie posters
The very last one wasn't appearing about a minute ago for some reason. But now I see it, and I concur.
The second book was the only one I liked in the series, so I have some hope for it (I liked the first movie better than I did the book). And after listening to the Spill review, I feel like I'm going to enjoy this film.
You see those posters? You see your comments? You see this face? This is my not caring face. I'm still excited to go see the movies tonight. Thank you Tummer! I still had my complaints about THG movie, but I feel as if it was one of the few movies based off of a book where I really didn't mind all that much. I'm hoping Catching Fire is better too. The second was probably my favorite as well, only because the third book did something to my soul that I will never get back. Just thinking about it leaves this void within me...
I read them all over a year ago and was lukewarm to the entire series, while I didn't like the third book at all (and they're turning it into two movies, which is a rant that I don't want to get into). It's been a while since I read Catching Fire, but it felt like the only book that had something that felt like tension. The review I listened to really said that it is better than the first movie and focuses on telling a good story instead of being a faithful adaptation, so take that for what its worth. Personally, when it comes to adaptions, as long as it keeps the message and feeling of the book, I don't mind changes.
