So my youngest sister's birthday was yesterday

    and I moved across the country recently, so I missed it. We want to play a board game with each other online, something like Catan or Ticket to Ride, but we don't know any websites that could host such things, since we own the board games and we've never had to play over the internet before. We considered just both setting up the boards in our own homes and just playing over Skype, but since any board games of the same base we both have are different versions (i.e., she has MLP Monopoly and my husband has Zelda Monopoly, they have Catan Classic and I have Star Trek Catan) we feel like it would be too complicated to try and translate the two versions to each other while also moving the other's piece on the board and keeping track of resources and junk.

    So do any of you guys know of websites that legally allow people to play board games over the internet in real time? If you do, that'd be very helpful. :)

    With a quick search, I found this thread. I'm unsure of how reliable it is but it may be worth a look at. Good luck + happy (belated) birthday to your sister.
