So my next cosplay

Is going to be the Supreme Queen Haou.
Which is genderbent Supreme King Haou from YGO GX, yes.

It's an original design, and I'm still trying to decide how it's going to look exactly.
I did some sketchy little designs in SAI, and obviously it's far from the final product, but can someone give me some feedback on the initial design?

On a serious note: I like the dedign. Color combo is a bit of a cliche though.

 

Pretty sure going to a Con naked is against the rules, guys.

As for the colors, I didn't pick them. Those are the colors straight from the original Supreme King outfit.


My brother's girlfriend actually suggested changing the shawl back into a cape, and I think I like that idea better.
And my friend reminded me that I need a crown ahaha.

I agree. A cape seems rather fitting. And the, yeah, there's the you know, mark of Royalty, the crown. lol

It seems like the costume you have in mind is waaay too modest for the type of character you're trying to portray.

 

There's a non-armor version as well, that was just the first picture I came across.

I like the shawl idea, though the cape would make more sense I suppose.

 

WELL MY BOOTS HAVE HEELS so yes. I'm not bothering to make new boots for this one, the dress is going to be ankle length at least. No one is going to see my shoes probably.

I like both idea's equally, honestly, but I just feel like the shawl would be more of a pain in the ass when I'm wearing it. But idk, it's still a pretty early draft.
