Assassin's Creed is boring because the gameplay's been the same thing since AC2 but they try to make up for it with little mini games like tower defense in Revelations, and naval combat in AC3. It's the Call of Duty of action/adventure games.

I haven't played Skylanders but just looking at it, it's easy to tell that it's bad.

 

They're adding new combat moves and stuff, right?

Plus, the gameplay for Assassin's Creed doesn't mean that much to me. At least it's not boring like Skylanders. Played it at his house (didn't want to) and I got bored the moment I made the character move.


If only he would actually take the time to friggin play Asscreed and see what it's about. He's helpless in the game sadly.

 

I haven't played any of the Assassin's Creed games. I keep meaning to but then I find something else to occupy my time.

Is it that strange for a series to stick to the same gameplay? The only series I know that dramatically switches its gameplay between each installment is the Kingdom Hearts series. Granted someone else can probably prove me wrong since I don't follow a lot of franchises and junk.

Although I admit I was getting tired of seeing Ezio and I was just about done with the Renaissance.

I personally think the first one was a work of art. It seemed not so....Japanese actionie, get my drift? The AC games afterwards are not as good imo.

I still want to play AC3 for the story. Gotta finish that story.
