Kingdom Hearts So many things i never knew!

Okay, so i started a new game in kingdom hearts 1. I beat it once before, but this time i wanted to be better at it. I knew that your weapon choices affected your game entire game, but i was not sure exactly by how much, so i looked it up. I picked the Wand, so i could have max MP later, and i got rid of the shield, so i started out with some strength. I also never knew what the questions meant, i always just answered them personally. Glad to know i picked all the top ones now, so EXP is easier to get.

Im detiremened to get to atleast level 15 before i leave the island. Im already level 10, almost 11. Right now, after every time i gain a level, i go and get one food item, so im not entirely bored out of my mind just rebattling tidus. I just raced riku, and im proud to say i beat him. I never beat him in that race before, and i got a pretty stone. I also never notived a green chest in a cave near the swingy thing. You have to move the box to get up into it, and it contains a protect chain (+1 defence).

I know most of you probably knew everything, since this is a site full of Kingdom hearts fanatics, but i thought i would share (and probably will continue to) the new things i find on my second playthrough.

yeah normally everyone just blows off most things in the first time thru just to learn the mechanics or if you are like me you get a little paranoid trying to make sure you get everything lol. but yeah the questions affect how quickly you get exp and yeah when i try to level real high on the island i dont talk to kairi i just fight wakka over and over or i fight riku over and over for the exp and the tech points.

 

Good observations, and as stated, most people blow off all of these things the first time just to get through the game. But yes, the choices you make at the beginning tutorial affect your starting stats.

 

Yeah, I did a re-playthrough after I had beaten it the first time and noticed all these things. Having the official strategy guide really helped too; there are so many awesome items you can get.

I also never knew that you could find Pinocchio in Traverse Town before visiting Monstro, hiding under the desk in the Accessory Shop, or just little things that the characters say (I never had the patience to speak to them when they're just standing around).

 

me either it's sad because i've played through the game on all difficulties on KH1 AND KH1:FM

 

Not to be a show off but I knew and did everything you said except the first part where you chose your weapon. And p.s. today is my lucky day too.

 

it does matter if you read the creat book for kh then you know that if you anser quations then that mean it will make you get more exp when you battle or less

 

Personally I quite like not knowing what the questions do to your stats, it's kinda weird I know but it makes each play through a little different if you don't always choose the same things. Kind of a random thing I like to do I know, but meh.

And I have to admit there's loads I still don't know about KH, and KHII really but more on KH. On my first play through for example I didn't even realise you gained points to equip new skills >_>

 

Hint: battle all three, leave Tidus for last. You may lose more often, but it gives a few more Exp. points.

I did the same, I tried using a guide to get the game a 100% done, but I got a bit bored of it after a while... Maybe I'll continue it soon xP​

 

Same here. i just looked carefully and found all of these things. You just gotta look at the details.

 

yeh i saw the green chest and i did get it. Lol weneva i play game i become paranoid if i dont get every item in a area, lol i search the whole place for everything xD
