Wow, talk about change .

 

I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. The UI is really simplistic and just the general changes to the staple Apps are pretty great. Don't think there's anything that's really disappointing me so far, but all in all it's so nice.

 

I have some complaints about it but it's okay I guess. There's nothing blatantly terrible about it so far, just minor things here and there that annoy me. My opinion could change over time, of course. My biggest complaint is the delay/fade . It's take more time to navigate from place to place and close apps and even lock the phone because it has to fade. It looks nice and all but it's too slow.

 

The fade really bothers me, when I want to simply check the time it feels like it takes FOREVER.

 

Okay I've found some things that really annoy me about the Music app. Like big time. ****ing iCloud.

Edit: Yeah no I'm done with iPhone. I can see where Apple is taking this and I want no part of it.

 

It's like my phone feels complete

 

I have an iPhone 4 so I can't update for a while haha. From the look of the screenshots I've seen I dislike the new design, hella overused gradients without any dimension to them. Either go for the full W8 look or stick with something a bit glossier.

Oh I thought it wouldn't be out for a few more days. I'm also in school on crappy Internet and I don't have 3GB of space free so lol. But I'm in no rush.

i doubt that, I know of plenty of people on here rocking android. When I do update my phone (not anytime soon, my iPhone 4 is just fine) I'll prob go android. I wanted to live with iOS and android and see which one i liked best.

 

It's not good, but it's not bad, either. It kinda just IS.

Use this to your advantage. I would seriously advise researching and getting some opinions from people before you decide to update or not, given how different 7 is from everything before it.

 

Androids better obviously because of its more custom than an iPhone.
Unless you jailbroke your iPhone you always have to stick with Apples way...

I don't really care too much though. I'm not in love with iOS 6, I would of course like to do research but there's nothing I think I have to lose.

Exactly. I haven't really use Android but right now its major appeal is SD cards. idgaf about 'customizing'... I make calls, text, listen to music, go on twitter, and surf the internet. I don't use many apps and I don't foresee losing any of that functionality.

 

It's like the general idea of what is "hipster' had a ******* child with tumbler and its first dirty diaper is ios7.

The whole flat design with no drop shadows and everything bright white all the time everywhere has been giving me a headache.

Waiting for jailbreak so I can customize this thing and maybe not hate how...girly it is...other than that, I like the transitions and functionality. They're pushing a very divisive visual aesthetic without offering any options for customization. A 'light' and 'dark' theme option would be nice. I also hate how there's significantly less shadow behind the app text, making it much harder to read the text with lighter backgrounds. Perhaps if they'd done a 1px text-shadow instead. Overall I think they really should put some more thought into visibility rather than just vomit random pastel colors on top of white everything.

TL;DR it's too goddamn bright.

 

It's kinda sad and funny how much of the stuff added in the update, Android users like myself have had for a long time.
