    1. Since Aang is still the last human airbender, doesn't that mean that all of the future avatars who are start out as airbenders are related to him?
    2. If all of the people of a particular element die out does the Avatar die too? Like if all of the airbenders did die then how would the next Avatar be born into the next cycle.

Yes, every future airbender would be related to Aang, there's nothing really wrong with that. And I guess the cycle would last for a few more reincarnations then stop at air. If all the airbenders died in the time of an air nomad avatar, then the cycle would probably continue, with the following avatar having the potential to use airbending, but can't due to the lack of a teacher, training or anything that can show him how to airbend. There might be a chance though that an airbender could still be born in another place. If genes mixed, then the air nomad gene could still end up in another person at another nation. Think LoK, people from different nations can have babies, that each have a different element, so there's a possibility that the air nomad gene may appear in a future generation. Or it could stop, and the entire avatar cycle would fall apart.
