    They vary from older to more recent games, but can someone tell me the average amount of store credits that you'll get for trading in a PS2 game?

    Depends on the rarity. I'd say between 2-10 on average. Some may be lower, some may be higher.

    Gamestop really rips you off for games. You'd be better off selling them to your friends for like $10, that worked well for my stepbrother. You'd have to trade in at least 12 PS2 games to get one PS3 game.

    You can probably get up to $40-$60 or maybe even $70 if you're lucky.

    Hell, I sold all of my PS2 games just to get KH2, back in the day. So, you KNOW how much Gamestop likes to rip people off.
