And everything is fine and dandy, except, well I NEVER, EVER have blood when I brush my teeth, but this morning when I brushed there was a bunch of blood. Not just some, everything I spat out was red. I got kind of scared. Furthermore there's a really funny taste in my mouth. I'm starting to think my dentist screwed something up. Should I be worried?

Well, there could a number of factors:
    1. The toothpast you use. Cinimmon=red spit
    2. You brushed too hard
    3. Dentist is a liar
    4. Dentist just bearly made it through college
    5. Something with puberty.
    7. Other...

It might have something to just do with brushing hard, or if you have sensitive gums and you were too hard on your gums.
maybe the dentist sucks. If this still goes on I think you should call a dentist.

Happened to me the last time I had a cleaning done. The dentist (named Terri, of all things) was very rough when scraping and actually cut my gums. I bled for a day after the cleaning and was very sore for a week. It cleared right up, though.

If you're worried about it getting infected try mixing a bit of hydrogen peroxide and mouthwash together and swish that around in your mouth for a bit.
