So I watched Dream Eater Merry today....

Im pissed.
The ending to it sucked real bad, hell it wasn't even a ending at all.
The anime had great potential, had wonderful art, but damn it was rushed.
Seems like to me it was intended for 25 episodes, somehow i get the feeling it was canceled. ..

I remember this show, yeah it had potential but the show ended up being..."meh"
I'd just stick to its manga if I were you. =/

 

Is the manga worth it?

 

No clue, I didn't feel like reading it.
All I really know is that the story continues on beyond where the anime ended.
Only downside is that the manga itself is still ongoing.

 

If the manga's ongoing, that explains why the ending to the anime wouldn't work.

 

That's a general problem with a lot of anime. Usually it cripples an anime, but there are some exceptions such as the original Fullmetal Alchemist.

 

Yup. And yeah, not many shows change as much as FMA though.

Only thing I was implying on my previous post was that it was still ongoing.
If you read the manga and caught up with it, you'd have to wait until the next part to come out.
Didn't know if you would want to do that or not.
